Amber Anderson, MA, LPC
Amber Anderson is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado and also holds licensure in Minnesota. Amber completed her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Adler Graduate School in Minnesota along with specialized trauma training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy (Level I & II). She has years of experience in community, school, church, and clinical settings as a therapist, educator, and speaker on mental health.
Amber’s believes healing happens in a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship when we are able to step out of our comfort zones and begin to hold a new more holistic perspective of ourselves and the world around us and then start to take steps of faith in new directions. Her approach is relational and client-centered, moving at a pace & depth appropriate for each client. Amber seeks to bring her clients healing from the past, strength to overcome, and joy even in the midst of the storms of life.
Amber also has an extensive background in the creative arts, with considerable experience in dance & figure skating. This helps her work more creatively with her clients and to be able to quickly and easily help people with all kinds of sensorimotor challenges. Amber cares a lot about each client being able to build upon and maximize their particular gifts and characteristics in the therapeutic process.
Amber’s spirit comes alive above the treeline, so much so that she married her husband on a Colorado 13er and the elevation adventures have continued together since then.
