Nate Havens, LPCC
Nate Havens is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He received both his BA in Psychology and MA in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Nate is gifted in connecting with his clients as he incorporates his life experiences with professional training in Christian-based counseling with components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. His counseling background includes acute inpatient, as well as outpatient services.
Nate counsels with a holistic approach that takes into account the spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, and social aspects of each individual, while focusing specific attention on each client’s self-care. He serves individuals and couples, to include pre-marital and marriage counseling. He also assists individuals with mood issues, sexuality concerns, and spiritual matters. His goal is to help each client reach their goals while living life abundantly and in freedom. He is equipped to meet clients in person, over the phone, or remotely.
Nate was raised in Colorado and enjoys spending time in God’s beautiful creation, especially next to a river in the mountains. He loves to play cards, tennis, racquetball, go on short hikes, swim and takes on an occasional paintball challenge. He lives in Colorado Springs and celebrates life with his wife and two young children. Before fully connecting his gifts and passions by entering the counseling profession, Nate worked and served with youth, in sales and in banking. Nate is passionate in the work he does and really enjoys getting to know each of his clients personally and meeting them where they at to help them get where they want and need to be.
