Teresa Latham, MA, LPCC

Teresa Latham’s greatest passion in life is people. After earning her BA in Christian Counseling in 2000, she spent 7 years doing mission work in Brazil. When she returned to the US, she completed an MA in Human Services Marriage & Family from Liberty University and spent the next season of life with her husband in his Army chaplain career. She is currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Teresa brings care and compassion to the counseling environment. She believes there is hope to break free from fear and pain and to live a life of purpose. Teresa has experienced teen motherhood, life as a young widow, and she is an Army veteran. She believes each person has their own story to share, and that healing is available for those that want it.

Teresa uses an eclectic mix of therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy, along with other modalities depending on a client’s unique goals. Her desire is to treat the whole person, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, and to integrate biblical values to the counseling experience.

Teresa has been married for 27 years. She and her husband enjoy watching their favorite shows, taking walks after dinner, and hanging out with their kids and grandkids spread out across the US. When the weather is warm, she will be on the water kayaking, outside reading, or mountain biking an easy trail. When it’s cold, she’ll dream of skiing or snowshoeing, but will probably be inside with a warm cup of cocoa!
