Karis Cooper is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Colorado and Wisconsin, with a Master of Social Work from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, though her experience spans ages 5 through 85, allowing her to support individuals and families through every stage of life. Karis integrates evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, carefully tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of those she serves.
With a compassionate and collaborative approach, Karis helps clients navigate life’s challenges while cultivating emotional resilience. She works alongside individuals to uncover their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and gain clarity and confidence as they pursue meaningful change. Her aim is to create a supportive and empowering space where clients feel truly seen and understood, fostering hope, purpose, and guidance grounded in faith as they move toward personal growth and well-being.
Beyond her clinical work, Karis enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring the outdoors, going on spontaneous adventures, listening to and playing music, and engaging in creative pursuits such as reading and journaling.
