Waleska Houlditch, LPCC

Waleska Houlditch is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate and graduate in Clinical Mental Health at Liberty University. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University.

Waleska believes that it is important to give hope to those who feel hopeless through their journey in life. Her son’s mental health issues paved the way for her desire to help others who are struggling with similar life circumstances. As a counselor in training, she wants to provide an atlas where individuals can feel safe to reflect on their internal thoughts and feelings, and she always desires for her work to have a meaningful impact in transforming her client's wellbeing.

She also believes that it is important to use an array of therapeutic orientations to assist the client through their counseling progression, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, or any other therapeutic formation that will assist in their healing journey. She believes that the relationship between the counselor and client is crucial to the client’s success.

Waleska has lived in Colorado Springs for the past 24 years and has been with her soulmate, Michael, for over 20 years. She enjoys watching and going to hockey games with her husband, and loves gardening, hiking, meditating, camping, and most of all...sitting on the front porch with her husband and their two furry babies watching the sun go down.
