Josh Brown, LPC

Josh Brown is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addiction Counselor with a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Liberty University and a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health from Colorado Christian University. Born on the West Coast and raised on the East Coast, he now calls Colorado his permanent home.
Upon graduating from High School, Josh entered the US Army and spent the next fifteen years in service
both in uniform and as a government civilian. He has traveled to 27 countries and spent more than 2 years in combat zones in the Middle East and central Asia.

During this crucible, he discovered his calling to fight for hearts through counseling. Believing that Jesus meant it when He promised to “heal the broken hearted” (Isaiah 61, Luke 4), he works in integrate the healing, freedom, life, and revelation of the Holy Spirit within clinical counseling.

He also believes in being rescued before you can fully help rescue others, and his own personal testimony of walking with God is full of the fulfillment of God’s rescue, often miraculously.

Josh uses his array of clinical tools as God directs, and he tends towards Cognitive Behavior Therapy
(CBT), Narrative Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). But most of all, he loves asking the question, “Jesus, what do you think?”
