Melanie Branch, LPCC

Melanie Branch is a Colorado Christian University graduate where she received her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Melanie’s background is in early childhood education where she worked as an infant and preschool teacher for over 10 years. Melanie has also worked with elementary and middle schoolers in an education and church setting.

During Melanie’s time as a preschool teacher, many of her co-teachers were leaving their jobs due to their adolescent child’s mental health, which drew Melanie to the field of mental health and counseling work, hoping to be able to help children, teens, parents, and families as a whole. Melanie is passionate about building relationships with people and fostering long-term healing and growth. God built our brains with an incredible capacity for healing; there is hope! Melanie uses the treatment modalities of cognitive behavioral therapy with a person-centered approach, reality therapy, and narrative therapy where we can explore how our stories impact us. Melanie also received a certification in Foundations of Child and Adolescent Counseling from the American Counseling Association.

Melanie grew up in Colorado Springs, but spent 13 years in California, where she met and married her husband. Melanie and her family moved back to the Springs in 2025 to be closer to family and raise their child. In her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing games, doing puzzles, reading and writing children’s books for her child, biking, and spending time in nature.
