Angel is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate (LPCC) in Colorado, holding a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Evangel University, a CACREP-accredited program. Having lived and served internationally for more than a decade, she has a particular heart for missionaries and their families, Third Culture Kids (TCKs), and those navigating cross-cultural life, transition, identity, and belonging.
Angel takes an integrative, whole-person approach grounded in person-centered, attachment-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-informed care. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, emotional regulation, identity and self-worth, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions, as well as those seeking to strengthen connection and build healthier relationship patterns. Drawing from CBT, DBT, attachment and systems-informed approaches, she also incorporates somatic awareness and nervous-system regulation when appropriate, tailoring counseling to each client's individual needs.
Angel's Christian faith deeply shapes how she understands people, relationships, hope, and healing. She welcomes honest exploration of faith, including seasons of doubt, difficult questions about God, church hurt, or spiritual abuse, and seeks to provide a compassionate space where clients do not have to arrive with all the answers.
Angel strives to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and valued as they grow in self-awareness and self-acceptance and better understand the experiences and patterns that have shaped them. In seasons when hope feels difficult to find, she considers it a privilege to hold hope alongside her clients until they can begin to recognize it within themselves again.
Outside of counseling, Angel enjoys spending time with her husband and children, traveling and experiencing new cultures, playing board games, and sharing good food and conversation with the people she loves.
